In 2024, Nike and the New York State Federation partnered on a post-season cross-country championship event, merging Nike Cross Regionals and the New York Federation Cross Country Championships into one. While doing this has and continues to have no direct effect on Northeast teams and athletes, the change has enabled us to move the regional a week earlier. Not only will the schedule change continue to benefit athletes competitively, it has freed them, their parents, coaches and our staff to be able to fully enjoy the Thanksgiving holiday and weekend. We hope the experience is enjoyable for all.
